Good News: Shanghai Shape Memory Alloy Co., Ltd. awarded the title

    Shanghai Shape Memory Alloy Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lepu ScienTech Medical Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (“ScienTech Medical”)) was recently awarded the title "Shanghai Enterprise Technology Center". It is a recognition of ScienTech Medical's innovative mechanism, achievements, research, and technological capabilities in the field of interventional medical devices for structural heart disease over the past two decades, as well as its industry-leading position.

     This title was awarded jointly by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, Shanghai Municipal Finance Bureau, Shanghai Municipal Tax Bureau, and Shanghai Customs.

    To obtain this certification, the enterprises must have a prominent position in the relevant industries and robust research and technological capacities, and should also demonstrate consistent and substantial investments in research and technological development, as well as play a role in establishing industry standards and guideline. Selected enterprises, which serve as the primary drivers for technological innovation, should be industry leading business model, and lead the progress of industry technology and innovation.

Until now, ScienTech Medical  possesses 232 registered intellectual property rights and 51 pending intellectual property applications in China, as well as 14 intellectual property applications in the United States and the European Union.
